At this Science Slam, researchers step out of their comfort zone and into the spotlight to present their work in the most vivid, accessible, and entertaining way possible. Each speaker has just ten minutes and can use any aids – slides, props, live experiments, or whatever it takes to make complex ideas shine.The topics? As diverse as the researchers behind them. From planetary health to strange research objects, unexpected discoveries, and big questions about our world. The only rules: make it clear, make it engaging, make it memorable. In the end, the audience decides who has delivered the most compelling performance.
The two winners will go on to represent LMU at the EUGLOH event in October with a 3-minute PhD Pitch, presenting their research on an international stage.
The event is part of the CAS Research Focus “Planetary Health” and is organized together with the LMU Graduate Centre.
